“Stevie” our Regular Visitor

Just days into my new job in the Pastorate at the church it has become evident that there is one regular visitor that I haven’t formerly introduced myself too as yet. I happened to notice the visitor while working at the church and after seeing him two or three times in the same week – decided to take a snap of him. Not sure if we’ll see him on Sundays but perhaps he’ll come along to Friday Bible Club.

As an update: 3 weeks into my role and I see Stevie almost everyday. He’s still a little wary of me but hopefully I can have a meaningful theological discussion on his Eschatological understanding very soon now.

New Pastor

Horsell Evangelical Church have called and appointed our new pastor Rev. Andrew Bents on 1st October 2013.

Andy was ordained and inducted into the pastorate at Horsell Evangelical on Saturday 5th October and witnessed by a full church.
Rev. David Long led the service and the main speaker was Rev. Andrew Bowden from South Wales.

This is Andy’s first pastorate and he will need much prayer as he settles into the new responsibilities of leading the church. We would encourage the fellowship to pray for him and his family at this time.

Andy’s Ordination & Induction

Andy Bents was Ordained and Inducted at Horsell Evangelical Church on 5th October at a packed church. Rev David Long led the service and Rev Andrew Bowden gave the address.
