The church ‘Friday Bible Club’ began in 2011 for children 7+ and meet most Friday evenings term time. A handful of  those attending are teenagers who like to meet together and chat.

We welcome any young person age 7 yrs or over, with or without a church background, to come and enjoy a “family feel” 1 1/2 hours together. Currently we have 16 youngsters, mostly from Horsell village with around 6 -7 adults who are church members and all CRB checked.

The evening usually commences with an energy releasing activity game together, after which the secondary age split from the junior age for 20 mins or so, for a short Bible talk. We then regroup for food!!!
The last part of the evening is spent all together watching a DVD which is Christian based and suitable for the age group.

The current film is a cartoon story of the ‘Eric Liddell’ story. Eric was a Christian who won the 400m Gold at the 1924 Paris Olympics and was depicted in the film ‘Chariots of Fire.’

We only have one problem.  The children don’t want to leave at 7.30.

Friday Bible club is open to all children 7+ and meet on Friday evening from 6:00pm-7:30pm term time.
